Getting to Potsdam:

From BER Airport

Getting from BER Brandenburg Airport to Potsdam is easy and direct. There is a train station at the airport, and the RB22 Train, which runs directly to Potsdam Hbf (Potsdam Central Station) leaves every hour at :23 minutes after the hour. There is a also bus, the BER2 Airport Shuttle, which runs to the Potsdam Central Station as well.  Tickets for the train can be purchased at machines in the train station, while bus tickets are purchased on the bus.

From Berlin Hbf (Hauptbahnhof; Central Train Station)

The S7 S-Bahn (Express train) to Potsdam Hbf (Central Station) is found on the top floor of Berlin Central Station, Track 16, and leaves every ten minutes.

The conference will be held at the Wissenschaftsetage––the top floor––of the Bildungsforum Potsdam, which is located at Am Kanal 47 in Potsdam. The Bildungsforum is a 15-minute walk from Potsdam Hbf, a route that passes the Mercure Hotel. If you are staying at the Holiday Inn, it is a short walk from the Bildungsforum further up Am Kanal. Saturday night there will be an evening event at the Orangerie at the Biosphäre Potsdam from around 6 pm until around 9 pm. The 96 Tram picks up at the northwest corner of the Platz der Einheit (see map), and it is nine stops until Potsdam, Volkspark, which is just at the Biosphäre.
